Held at the Embassy, its theme was “The 2nd Maasai Olympics Symposium: Competition for Wildlife Conservation?.” The Maasai people have for long years practiced their cultural rite of passage to manhood by hunting and killing lions. Program Summary -BRIDGE Fellowship Launched for JSPS Alumni Members- To date, JSPS alumni associations have been established in 11 countries and regions: Germany, France, the UK, the US, Sweden, India, Egypt, East Africa (Kenya), Korea, Bangladesh, and Finland.
